If you have the Administration > Profiles permission, you can customize the shared profiles that can be applied to multiple user accounts. For example, you might want to have variations of the Basic or Advanced profile or create a new profile for a team who has specific permissions.

See Assign profiles to users to learn more about profiles, and how to create a user-specific profile.

View all profiles

Click Administration > Profiles.

The Profiles page displays a list of all your profiles, including the default system profiles and any other profiles that you or other administrators in your organization have created.

Add a profile

  1. On the Profiles page, click New.

  2. Enter a name for the new profile.

  3. Select one of these options:

    • Set up a new profile from scratch: Select the relevant setting checkboxes.

  4. Click Save > Close. Your new shared profile will display in the list on the Profiles tab, and become available for selection from the Profile list on every user’s Profile tab (on the user maintenance form).

Edit a profile

On the Profiles page, click the profile name > edit its setup as required (see steps above) > click Save.

You can also edit a profile via the Edit for everyone shortcut on an individual user’s Profile tab.
