When you open a budget or forecast worksheet, it looks the way the budget owner intended it to look, without an individual audience in mind. As access to a workbook is restricted, you might only see some of the rows in the worksheet.
There are several ways you can customize your view of a worksheet to meet your needs. For example, you might want to filter the worksheet to remove some rows or on the other hand, you might want to view the whole budget hierarchy.
Rows
Filter the worksheet
Filtering allows you to remove rows from the worksheet, so you can focus on the rows that are important to you.
Filter the workflow - View only the rows to which you have been assigned in the workflow.
Filter a dimension - View only the rows applicable to a specific entity in a dimension, for example, Country > UK.
Search for an item - View only rows that contain a specific search term.
Expand or collapse rows
Click the Expand or Expand all button to view the lower-level items.
Prune the worksheet
If you are the budget owner, you might want to make additions to the budget hierarchy.
