Unclassified data is also referred to as “###” or suspense items. For example, in a Sales database, you might have some sales that were not allocated against a sales rep. When this happens, the classification is missing from the data and the system assigns a “###” reference as the account code.

Budget workbooks based on a Financial database include unclassified data by default. Since the 7 June 2022, new budget workbooks based on non-financial databases and Database driver tabs also include unclassified data by default. This data displays in the Main tab under the label "Suspense".

Unclassified data does not display for any non-financial budget workbooks or Database driver tabs created before the 7 June 2022 release; this is to prevent any unexpected changes. However, you have the option to include. Select the Include ### suspense items in the budget checkbox in the workbook setup, as demonstrated in the following video. The video also shows you how to search for ### items in a budget worksheet and determine if these items are included in a Database driver tab.
