The main Budgeting & Forecasting permission activates the Manage Budgets & Forecasts permission. These permissions are available when the Budgets and Forecasts module is enabled for your Phocas site. Together, they allow a user to become a budget owner and therefore, create and manage budgets and forecasts workbooks. Typically, this access would be requested by someone in your Finance team.
On the user’s maintenance form > Profile tab, either assign a profile that contains these permissions or go to the Budgeting and Forecasting section (at the bottom of the screen) and select both the Budgeting & Forecasting and Manage Budgets & Forecasts checkboxes. Then click Save.
