In addition to the general Phocas user access, permissions and data restrictions, if you want to give a user access to Rebates, you need assign For users to access Rebates, they need both the Rebates license and give the user permission to use Rebates.

Rebates license

The ability to assign a Rebates license to

a user depends on the number of licenses that are available for your Phocas site.

Click the Phocas menu button > Administration > Users to open the Users screen, then use one of these methods to You can assign the license :

in three ways.

• Assign the license to an individual user: Click On the user’s name (blue link) to open the user maintenance form, then on the > User tab , go to the> License section and , set Rebates to Yes and click Save.

  For one or more users: Click the green Users button and select License to open the license view, then While you are here, you can proceed to assign the Rebates permission (see below).

• Assign the license to multiple users at the same time: On the main Users screen, either:

  • Switch to License view, select the Rebates checkbox for the applicable users, then click Save.

  • Select the applicable users

  for whom you want to update details

  • and click More > Bulk Update, then select Yes from the Rebates dropdown list and continue with the bulk update process.

On the user’s maintenance form

Select one of these options:

> Profile tab, either assign a profile that contains the Rebates permission or go to the Rebates section (

near the bottom of the screen) and select the Rebates checkbox.

Click Save.
