When you are adding a file or directory data item to Sync, the Autodetect Delimiter option is selected by default. As the name suggests, the 'auto-detect delimiter' option in Sync automatically recognises certain delimiters as column separators when you are adding files. E.g., if your data is separated by commas, tabs or other common delimiters, Sync this option automatically recognizes common delimiters that might be used to separate your data, such as commas and tabs, and separates the data into columns accordingly.
Image AddedYou can ignore 'auto-detect delimiter' and choose your own delimiter. This might prefer Sync to ignore these delimiters and select a specific delimiter to use instead. This option is useful if your data contains other delimiters (e.g., a , such as ^ symbol).
To do this :
Leave 'Autodetect delimiter' untickedIf this is the case, clear (uncheck) the Autodetect Delimiter checkbox and enter a delimiter in the
fieldbox below it
