The main Budgeting & Forecasting permission activates the Manage Budgets & Forecasts permission. These Budgets and Forecasts permissions are available when the Budgets and Forecasts module is enabled for your Phocas site. Together, they allow a user .
The main Budgets & Forecasts permission allows users to access the Budgets and Forecasts module and contribute to the workflow.
The Manage Budgets & Forecasts permission allows users to become a budget owner and
/or administrator, which means they can create and manage budgets and forecasts workbooks. Typically, this access would be requested by someone in your Finance team.
On the user’s maintenance form > Profile tab, either assign a profile that contains these permissions or go to the Budgeting and Forecasting Budgets & Forecasts section (at the bottom of the screen) and select both the Budgeting & Forecasting and Manage Budgets & Forecasts the applicable checkboxes. Then click Save.
