Provided the Phocas Budgets and Forecasts module has been enabled for your site, you can give users permission to manage the budgets and forecasts. Typically a change to this access would be requested by someone in the Finance team.With this permission, This permission enables a Budgets and Forecasts users you user to become a budget ‘owner’ owner and therefore, have the ability to create and manage budgets and forecasts .

You can give users permission to manage budgets and forecasts either via an individual user’s profile settings or via a site-wide profile.
Give permission to an individual user
Click the Phocas menu button > Administration > Users, then click the user’s name (blue link) to open the user maintenance form.
Click the Profile tab.
Select one of these options:
Assign the user a profile containingworkbooks. Typically, this access would be requested by someone in your Finance team.
On the user’s maintenance form > Profile tab, either assign a profile that contains the Manage Budgets and Forecasts permission
.Select the User Specific profile, scroll downor go to the Budgeting and Forecasting section

towardsat the bottom of the screen) and select the Manage Budgets and Forecasts checkbox.
ClickThen click Save.
Give permission to a user profile
Click the Phocas menu button > Administration > Profiles.
Ensure the profile exists, if create a new profile.
Select the profile from the list.
Scroll down to the Budgeting and Forecasting section* (towards the bottom of the screen) and select the Manage Budgets and Forecasts checkbox.
Click Save.
