There are two ways to create a rule. You can either clone (copy) an existing rule or create a new rule from scratch. Cloning is the simplest and quickest option, as you base the new rule on one that is already in your list, taking advantage of existing brackets and so on. Even though the rule rules have the same names as the originals, they all have unique identifying numbers behind the scenes. You can then edit the setup of the cloned rule, as required.
Clone a rule
Open the project in which you want to create the rule.
On the Rebates tab, select the rule and click Clone. The rule is cloned instantly.
Proceed to edit the rule setup.
Create a new rule from scratch
Open the project in which you want to create the rule.
On the Rebates tab, click New, then set up the rule and click Save and Close.
