When you open a financial database, the first statement you see and the way it looks is determined by the ‘standard view’ that is set up by the person in your organization who has permission to manage financial statements. That view is based on a default period (timeframe) that is applied to the underlying financial database. You can change this default period, so that a particular date range applies to the financial statements each time you open them.
You can also change the period temporarily when you are viewing a statement.
