Select multiple rows

You can select multiple rows or cells, calculations (Sum, Count and Average) are automatically performed for you and the results are displayed at the bottom of the grid.

  • Click on individual row numbers, in any order,

  • click and drag your mouse across multiple rows, or

  • click a row number, hold down the shift key, and then click another row number. Both rows, and all rows in between will be selected, and will turn blue.

To deselect multiple rows click on a row number or click and drag your mouse across multiple rows, starting on a blue row. You can Reset to deselect everything. Note this will also reset other settings that you have applied to the grid.

It is now much easier to analyze multiple accounts from different categories while in a Financial Statement. Select the account rows, then click the Focus button to move into the Analytics grid, where you can drill down and analyze the details.

This feature also works across all types of financial statements and when you are in matrix mode.

You can now select multiple rows or cells in a financial statement. Click the first row/cell, then either:

  • Drag your mouse over the rows/cells you want to include in the selection.

  • Press and hold the Shift key, click the last row/cell you want to include in the selection, then release the Shift key.

This enhancement allows you quickly copy a selection of data from the financial statement and paste it into another place, such as a Microsoft Excel worksheet, removing the next to export the whole statement.

This enhancement also allows you to analyze selections of data at a glance. Calculations based on the selected items are automatically performed for you, the results of which display at the bottom of the grid.

This enhancement allows us to:

  • Keep in-line with our other modules, where this feature is currently available.

  • Support the creation of visualizations - an exciting new feature coming soon.
