This is where you perform a quick keyword filter, or access the Focus and Advanced filter features.

When you focus or filter on data, chips appear in the filter box to help you keep track of what you've done. When there are two or more focus or filter actions (chips)

There are three ways to filter the data.

When two or more, see And indicator default filtering, can change to OR in ad search panel, and see the Clear button.

Focus

The Focus tool displays a subset of your data in the grid. After you select one or more rows of data, you can use the Focus tool to isolate those selected rows from the rest of the dataset. You can then take your analysis further, concentrating on those specific rows of data.

Select the row(s) you want to focus on, then click the Focus button.

The grid updates to display only your selected rows. Any totals or averages that display in the updated grid now relate only to the selected rows of data. The status bar above the grid identifies the selected data. The number of rows you have focused on displays in brackets on the corresponding dimension (which displays in blue).

to undo the focus action and revert to the full list of rows in the grid: lick the X on the chip in the filter box.

Right-click filter

The right-click filter allows you to do an advanced search based on a condition directly from the grid while you're looking at the data you're interested in. This feature is particularly powerful when you use it on a custom calculaiton column. You can then hide or delete the custom columns without affecting the filtered results.

The right-click filter is available in the calculation and transaction columns. It’s contextual, so the available options, such as the comparable columns, depend on the column you are filtering.

Right-click a cell in a column to display the context menu then select the filter you want to apply.

Advanced filter

The advanced filter feature is still in development. For now, when you click the Advanced filter button, a panel opens showing any filters you've applied. They can be the keywords you’ve entered in the filter box, entities you’ve focused on, and conditional filters you’ve applied via the right-click context menu.

When you apply two or more filters, the And/Or option becomes available.
