Phocas tracks the history of changes to database designs by automatically creating a new version of the design each time it is saved or when the database is built. You can revert to a previous version if you need to.

View previous versions

Go to Design. Select the 'Version' tab, shown below.

The Versions screen lists all previous designs, the time the version was saved (on the left) and the last build date, and status (on the right).

Revert to a previous version

Choose Revert beside the version you want to restore. You will be asked if you want to revert. Confirm.

Once you confirm, the restored design will open ready to be modified or saved. The restored design will become available in Phocas once it has been built, either manually or on a schedule.

View change log

Design versioning generates a change log. To see details of changes between versions select Show changes.
