If you have been assigned a Phocas Viewer license, you will see Viewer in the top-right corner near your user initials or profile picture.
This license type gives you a 'you’ll have read-only' access to Phocas the dashboards and favorites that have been shared with you.
What you can do
With a Viewer license, you can't open any favorites or dashboard widgets or drill into any databases but you can In particular, you do the following:
DashboardsWith dashboards:
Set the dashboard as your ' home dashboard ' to replace the default home screenPhocas homepage.
Hover over the data to view tooltips.
Filter the data.
Apply a custom date range (period).
Refresh the dashboard to view updated data.
Print the data.
FavoritesWith favorites: Hover, sort and select cells.
Difference between viewer and full license
Users who have a full Phocas license can typically perform the following functions, subject to their individual permissions:
Create and share favorites, alerts and dashboards.
Analyze dashboard widgets.
Export data from Phocas.
You can’t create or share items, analyze dashboard widgets, or export data.
If you think you need more access to data within Phocas, discuss this with your administrator.
