Moving mode is similar to period mode, except that each month typically has the previous 11 months added to it, creating a moving annual total view. For example, where period mode would show Oct 2013, Moving mode would show Nov 2012-Oct 2013.

How the Phocas grid appears in this mode

With a dimension selected, the grid displays a column for all active properties in the current dimension and a column for each month (plus the previous 11 months) within the current period. A total column is also displayed.

In summary view, eech month within the current period is listed and columns for current period and previous period are shown, including data for that month plus the previous 11 months. Current cumulative, previous cumulative, variance and percentage variance columns are also displayed. In summary view, the cumulative columns are not shown as 'moving'.
