View a single data stream

  1. Select Streams button.
  2. Choose a stream from the list (the default stream will appear at the top). Only one stream can be chosen at a time, so if you want to compare streams you will need to use Stream mode.

Example. We want to view budgets for all sales reps (i.e., the 'Rep' dimension) so we will use the sales database.

  1. Choose the 'Rep' dimension.
  2. Select Stream > Budget. The grid will update to show budget data.

More about streams

  • Streams do not respond to the Reset button. If you have selected a stream, you will need to manually change it back.
  • If only one stream has been defined, then neither the Streams button nor Stream mode will appear.
  • If a 'No results' message is displayed when selecting a stream, this may be simply because the data does not exist. e.g. budgets may not exist for individual customers, or there may be no orders in the system for a particular branch.
