This is where you perform a quick keyword filter, or access the Focus and Advanced filter features.

When you focus or filter on data, chips appear in the filter box to help you keep track of what you've done. When there are two or more focus or filter actions (chips)

There are three ways to filter the data.

Focus

Select data what about this first? can’t select multiple separate rows. when select something on another page, you lose your first selection.

The Focus tool displays a subset of your data in the grid. After you select one or more rows of data, you can use the Focus tool to isolate those selected rows from the rest of the dataset. You can then take your analysis further, concentrating on those specific rows of data.

Filter box

Quickly search for specific data in the grid, type text or a value keyword into the box and press Enter. This action automatically performs an ‘is like' (wildcard) search on all the property columns currently displayed in the grid. Your search term displays as a chip on the right side of the filter box.

Click the X on the chip to remove the filter. When you have two or more filters applied, you can click the red Clear button that displays next to the chips.

The right-click filter allows you to do an advanced search based on a condition directly from the grid while you're looking at the data you're interested in. This feature is particularly powerful when you use it on a custom calculaiton column. You can then hide or delete the custom columns without affecting the filtered results.

Advanced filter

The advanced filter feature is still in development. For now, it displays the results of the focus and filter actions you’ve applied on the grid, when you click the Advanced filter button, a panel opens showing any filters you've applied. They can be the keywords you’ve entered in the filter box, entities you’ve focused on, and conditional filters you’ve applied via the right-click context menu.

When you apply two or more filters, the And/Or option becomes available.
