    The quickest way to change the dates in the grid is to choose select from a list of already defined periods. Defined periods contain a current period and  period and previous periodand are usually dynamicusually dynamic, meaning they adjust according to today's date.

    To select a defined period 

    In Summary view or when you have selected a dimension (as applicable), click the Period menu, then select a defined period from the list

    Check what dates are in a period

    When the grid updates with the new defined period, you can check what dates

    a particular defined

    that period refers to

    , choose a period (e.g., Period > Last month) and when the grid updates select 

    The example below shows the dates for 'YTD' (i.e., January-May).

    : click Period > Custom. The

    screen that opens will show the dates for this defined period. 

    Custom Period window displays the date range.
