Example of period stream mode
In this example we want to compare sales with orders for the last 3 months for a selection of customers.
- From the 'Sales' database select 'Ship to' dimension and select customers.
- Select Period > Last 3 months.
- Select Mode > Period stream, as shown below.
In period stream mode an additional button appears to the right of the standard 'sales' stream button. In the example below, 'orders' is the additional stream.
As shown below, the grid will display results for sales and orders, both as total and for each month. Variance is also displayed, as an amount and as a percentage.
