Locking selections lets you lock or 'freeze' items that have been focused on, so that TipLock selections only functions during

When you focus on data, you can lock that selection of data, so further selections can be made and cleared or reset without affecting the original selections. The feature is typically used to either:

  • Data security reasons - Locking selections allows you to restrict what other people see on your screen: Phocas is often used to share information . Apply a lock 

  • Choose a dimension.

    1. Click the Lock Selection button on the toolbar. All data will appear and the button will change back to gray.

    Note about Advanced search. Applying a lock

    Lock selections after an advanced search

    If you lock selections when an advanced search is active
