You can focus on specific rows (accounts and/or groups) in a financial statement. When you focus on the rows, you move into the Analytics grid, where you can analyze the data further, such as drill down into the transactions.

  1. Select the row(s):

    Select the row(s):

    • To select one row, click its Select (blue star) button.To select multiple consecutive rows, expand the rows, then either:

      • Click and hold the Select (blue star) button of the first row, drag your mouse down over the other rows you want to include in your selection, then release the Shift key.

      • Click the Select (blue star) button of the first row, hold down the Ctrl key and click the Select (blue star) button of select the last row you want to include in your selection then release the Ctrl key.

    • To select a range of non-consecutive rows, expand the rows, then click select the Select (blue star) button of the first row, hold down the Ctrl key and click select the Select (blue star) button of the other rows(s) you want to include in your selection.

    • To deselect rows, use one of the above methods. The rows return to white color.

  1. Click the Focus button to move into the Analytics grid.

To return to the high-level summary information, click the Delete button (blue star) on the dimension(s) and , then click the Summary button.
