When you access the Financial Statements module, the first statement you see and the way it looks is determined by the ‘standard view’ that is set up by your administrator. This view is based on a default period (timeframe) that is applied to the underlying financial database. You can change this default period, so that a particular date range applies to the financial statements each time you them.
On your Home page, click the More options 
button of the financial database, then click Set Default Period. Select the required period and click Save.
