You In non-financial budget workbooks and Database driver tabs, you have the option to include unclassified data, also referred to as “###” or suspense items, in your budget workbook.
For example, in a Sales database, you might have some sales that were not allocated against a sales rep. When this happens, the classification is missing from the data and the system assigns a “###” reference as the account code.
By default, this unclassified data displays in new budget workbooks created after this feature was released on 7 June 2022.
The unclassified data does not display for any workbooks created before this feature was released; this is to prevent any unexpected changes to a budget. However, you can include it in those existing workbooks. Select the Include ### suspense items in the budget checkbox in the workbook setup, as demonstrated in the following video. The video also shows how to search for ### items in a budget worksheet and determine if these items are included in a Database driver tab.
